We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved chameleon, Admiral Ackbar. She was with us just a few short years but her legacy made a profound impact on us all. Most people know her as the host of crazy house-party bashes that ran into the wee-hours of the morning. She is the name sake of our house and this website. She was the Admiral Ackbar, the highest ranking member of the house, named after the character in Star Wars she resembled.

Unfortunately, her health continued to deteriorate over the past few months as she strangely lost control and function of 2 of her limbs. We could no longer bare to watch her drag herself around her tree with her tail and remaining limbs and so today she was taken to the Vet where she was pronounced terminal and put down.

She will always be in our memory.

Apparently Pirates were voted as the most overplayed costume this year. But were any of you Butt Pirates?

Just wanted to write a quick note and thank everyone for coming to Colin’s RAGER that commenced at 4220 9th Ave. Despite the large crowd, the vibe was great and everyone was respectful. Over 300 people showed up to bring in Colin’s 24th, and so far we’ve only found one broken futon and a few cracked out bodies lying around the lawn. Consumed: 20 gallons of jungle juice (pure alcohol if you didn’t notice), 36 bottles of vodka, 6 cases of beer, not enough water. Just a side note - try not to drop bombs in the Admiral’s bathroom. Our sixties brady bunch era toilets can’t handle your shits. Thanks again for the awesome party, we had a fucking blast, hope you did too.

Oh yeah, call your trick from Saturday and head back down to SD for the Foam Party May 27th at Rich’s.

We’re throwing a Foam Party memorial day weekend at Rich’s Nightclub here in San Diego with DJ Nickno. We shot the ads monday night created the Spin Cycle website, laid out print ads, designed the logo and submitted an ad to Rocket Magazine.

Thanks for checking out the new AdmiralsHouse.com… we decided to change the site to the Wordpress blog software in order to keep things up to date. Hopefully you should see photos here days (or hours) after they are taken (rather than weeks, months, or never).
